Kigozi Joseph a Civil Engineer by training with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Makerere University. He currently works with PROME Consultants Limited a Ugandan consultancy firm as the Deputy head of the Project Management and Business Development division. PROME Consultants Limited is a member of the Uganda Association of Consulting Engineers (UACE) and in this association, he has previously served as a champion for Capacity Building coordinating capacity-building initiatives for the young engineers. His work in the sustainability space has been globally recognized and in that he is a recent winner of an Acknowledgment Prize for Middle East Africa for the project in Non-Motorized Transport at the recently concluded 6th Cycle of the Lafarge Holcim Foundation Awards (2021). He has authored several papers on sustainable transportation and urban mobility with focus on Non-Motorized transport in Africa and these have been presented in several regional and international conferences the most recent being the International Road Federation World meeting (2021) that was held in Dubai, Mobility summer school (2022) that was held in Ghana and the Sustainable Construction Workshop for Sub-Saharan Africa (2023) held in Dar-es-Salaam Tanzania.
