Tajudeen ‘Lanre Sagaya is a civil engineer, specializing in transportation engineering with over 15 years consultancy experience; in design, construction supervision and project management in the USA and Nigeria. He is currently a director and heads the transportation engineering division of Yolas Consultants Ltd., based in Lagos, Nigeria. Yolas Consultants is an indigenous firm, established in 1980 and has been in continuous existence for over 40 years. Mr. Sagaya holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc.) in Civil Engineering from Birmingham University in the UK, a Master of Engineering (MEng.) in Transportation Infrastructure from Virginia Polytechnic and State University (Virginia Tech) in the US and a Master of Science (MSc.) in International Development Studies from the Bartlett School of the Built Environment at the University College London (UCL), UK. He is a graduate of 2011 FIDIC Young Professionals Management Training Program; was a delegate at the 2013 FIDIC Centenary Conference; and also attended the 2013 GAMA (now FIDIC Africa) Conference previously held in Livingstone, Zambia in 2012.
