His career spans diverse roles including writing conceptual and interpretative project reports, preparing bid proposals, conducting financial appraisals, performing due diligence, and driving business development. He has worked extensively on proposals for real estate and infrastructure projects, as well as on operational compliance for strategic units, with a strong focus on planning, control and monitoring of projects.

With deep experience in the rehabilitation of deteriorated structures, Rizwan specialises in seismic, coastal and environmentally influenced design, as well as projects on poor foundation conditions. He is adept at managing multi-disciplinary design teams, applying value engineering, and utilising advanced structural software such as STAAD PRO V8i, SAND, LUSAS FEM, PROTAS 2021 and AutoCAD 2020. His work includes structural surveys, master planning, affordable housing schemes and high-profile developments. He is also proficient in Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite CS5 and holds certifications in FIDIC Conditions of Contract Modules 1 to 4.
