For DAAF part I – “Site Visits”
Regular DAAB site visits are a cornerstone of dispute avoidance under FIDIC contracts — a proactive mechanism enabling early identification of issues, structured dialogue, and the gradual building of trust between the Parties.
This forum will explore FIDIC’s upcoming Practice Note IV on Site Visits, offering practical guidance on the DAAB’s role and effective strategies for preparing and managing site visits. Participants will work in facilitated groups led by appointed table leaders to discuss key aspects of the Practice Note and share feedback to inform its finalisation. The Practice Note will be published at FIDIC’s International Contract Users Conference in London in December 2026.
