Maria is a Chartered Engineer with over 23 years of industry experience specialising in climate change and sustainability with a focus in asset management and infrastructure investment planning. Maria has extensive technical advisory experience supporting government, policy makers, asset owners, contractors and other value chain members to shape their climate change strategies and plans and has helped embed climate change and sustainability considerations in major infrastructure projects. Maria has been the lead co-author of PAS 2080 and co-author of the HM Treasury Infrastructure Carbon Review. She is a member of the UK Green Construction Board and involved in various Industry Forums to help shape the infrastructure climate change agenda, including the Institution of Civil Engineers, the FIDIC Carbon Management Working Group and others
