Mr. I C P Keshari is a distinguished retired IAS officer of the 1988 batch, Madhya Pradesh cadre, with over three decades of leadership in India's infrastructure and energy sectors. He holds Graduate and Post Graduate degrees from the University of Delhi, where he also featured in the Delhi University Merit List.

With a distinguished career spanning both field and policy roles, he has served as Secretary, Public Works Department (Roads & Buildings), Government of Chhattisgarh; as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Power, Government of India; and as Additional Chief Secretary for Energy and Irrigation, and Vice Chairman of the Narmada Valley Development Authority, in the Government of Madhya Pradesh. He has also held the positions of Chairman, Managing Director and Director on the boards of several infrastructure companies. Earlier in his career, he served as District Magistrate and Collector across three districts over a period of nine years, giving him deep grassroots experience to complement his work at the highest levels of policymaking.

He was President of the IAS Association, Madhya Pradesh, and subsequently served as Advisor (Energy and Infrastructure) at the Adani Group. He has been a key member of several Inter-Ministerial Groups relating to Coal, Heavy Industry, Power and the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, and has represented India at the international level as Co-Chair of bilateral Working Groups with the United States, Germany, the European Union, Japan, Canada and Australia on thermal power generation and clean coal technologies.

Mr. Keshari is presently the Director General of the Association of Power Producers, the apex industry body representing India's private power developers. He is widely respected as a clear-headed and articulate leader with a strong record of decisive action, a passion for innovation, and a firm belief in collaborative, solutions-driven governance.
