Dr. Vishal Haripersad was elected President of Consulting Engineers South Africa (CESA) — the representative body for 600 consulting engineering firms across the country — in November 2025. As Managing Director of Knight Piésold Africa, he brings over 25 years of experience in business leadership, infrastructure delivery, and industry advocacy across the African continent. He holds a Doctorate in Global Leadership and Management, and his presidency is guided by the theme: "If Not Engineers, Then Who? Reclaiming Our Purpose, Securing Our Future."
