Louis is the CEO of the Global Infrastructure Basel Foundation. Louis has a background as an engineer with a diverse professional practice across developed, emerging and least developed economies as well as in conflict and post-conflict contexts. He is a respected thought leader, experienced innovator and sustainability expert. Louis has a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemistry (Hons), a Bachelor of Science in Physics and a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, as well as a Certificate in International Development. Louis has lead complex multi-stakeholder processes including the development of SuRe® – The Standard for Sustainable and Resilient Infrastructure.
