Nicolas Miravalls is a seasoned infrastructure leader with over 30 years of international experience
spanning civil engineering, contracting, and strategic business development. As CEO and co-founder
of ORIS, he is transforming infrastructure project design towards more sustainability, using data-driven
insights and advanced digitalization.
Before launching ORIS, Nicolas spent 15 years with COLAS managing operations across Africa and
Eastern Europe, followed by seven years as Global Head of Road Markets at Holcim (2013-2021),
where he launched the ORIS platform as an intrapreneurial venture.
A passionate advocate for innovation and sustainability, Nicolas serves on the Board of the
International Road Federation and previously chaired the Environmental Working Group of the
European Pavement Association. He holds an MSc in General Engineering from ICAM, with executive
education from HEC Paris. He also served nine years as a French Foreign Trade Advisor.
