Bill M. Halkias, PE, F.ASCE, F.ITE, is a highly respected leader in the toll road and transportation sector. He served as Managing Director and CEO of Attica Tollway Operations Authority (Attikes Diadromes SA) from 1999 to 2022, and continued as Advisor until 2024 before joining the New Attica Tollway Concession Company.

He has held prominent leadership roles nationally and internationally, including President of the Hellenic Institute of Transportation Engineers, founding President of HELLASTRON, President of ASECAP, President of International Road Federation, and President of International Bridge, Tunnel and Turnpike Association.

Widely recognised for his strategic leadership and international engagement, he has played a key role in advancing toll road operations and fostering collaboration across the global transportation community.
