• Professional Civil Engineer with 60+years of international construction industry experience. Fellow of ICE since 1985
• Designer involved in first Hong Kong cross-harbour tunnel; water supply and dams in Jordan and Canadian Mica Creek 500MW hydro-electric scheme
• As a Contractor responsible for 250+ infrastructure construction projects in Africa and Asia involving roads, bridges, water/sewage, power, airports, ports, offices and commercial buildings
• Established ECV Consulting and Training Company in 1993 in response to transitional requirements of construction industry in Former Soviet Union countries from East Germany to Mongolia.
• Created modular courses on FIDIC 1999/2017 Contracts and presented these “in-person” and partnership with FIDIC to over 15,000 professionals in 50 countries
• Provided “In-house” FIDIC Contract courses to personnel from IFIs, UN, EU, Government Ministries and Agencies etc
• Technical writer of FIDIC Contract Manuals
