A Civil Engineer, with 48 years of professional experience (16 years on long term assignment in developing countries), specialised in contract establishment, procurement and contract management for the construction of large, complex infrastructure projects. Projects included hydropower, dams, tunnels, bulk water transfer and irrigation schemes, with various socio-economic, environmental, political and financial priorities. Responsible for the full management of the various types of contracts during implementation, and also prior to that for the development and preparation of tender documents, management of the procurement process, tender evaluation and contract negotiations. Further experience includes O&M and training contracts for major facilities, parameters and documentation for concession contracts as well as due diligence on the various associated agreements.
