                                                    Karen Gough, Barrister, 39 Essex Chambers, Attorney-at-law (Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago), Chartered Arbitrator.
Karen practises internationally as counsel, attorney-at-law, arbitrator, adjudicator and ADR neutral. She specialises in complex construction, engineering, professional negligence and commercial disputes resolved by litigation, arbitration or ADR. She has appeared before the Courts of England and Wales at all levels including the Privy Council. Karen is dual qualified in the Caribbean, she a Chartered Arbitrator, a Certified International ADR Practitioner (FAiADR) and is an expert in the resolution of disputes under the FIDIC forms of contract.
She is a past President of the CIArb., a member of numerous arbitration panels, an expert advisor to the AIAC (Malaysia) and JAIAC (Jamaica), a VC of the IPBA’s ICP, past Vice Chairman of SCL (London) and a teaching fellow at Sydney’s College of Law.
