Oliver is currently the Deputy President of Master Builders Association Malaysia (MBAM). He has been involved in the construction industry for over 35 years with numerous iconic projects under his local and international employments. With his educational background in economics, Oliver worked his way up to earn his seat at the C-suite table as Business Development Director.
Oliver also has a long history with MBAM since 1993 and became a Council Member since 2008. As the Chairman of MBAM Contracts and Practices Committee since 2012, he has organised many educational events for the benefit of contractors and sub-contractors, as well as has been an active representative voice of contractors in industry initiatives such as the promulgation of CIPAA (Construction Industry Payment Adjudication Act) and standard form of contracts. He is also passionate about helping members learn the construction contractual issues and management strategies they need to overcome their construction disputes. As such, in 2018, under Oliver’s leadership, MBAM Mediation Services was setup and successfully launched in June 2019.
At the international arena, he is the current Vice Chairman of International Federation of Asian and Western Pacific Contractors' Associations (IFAWPCA) Conditions of Contracts Committee since 2016. He is also now the Ambassador of IFAWPCA to International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC).

He is also a Panel Mediator under Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) Malaysia and Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC) Malaysia.
