Charles Kim has been General Counsel of the American Council of Engineering Companies since May of 2000 and Corporate Secretary since May of 2019. Mr. Kim also serves as staff member or liaison to a number of ACEC committees and programs, including the Planning Cabinet, the Risk Management Committee, the Legal Counsel Forum, the Minuteman Fund, and the ACEC Business Insurance Trust. Prior to joining ACEC in July of 1998, Mr. Kim earned his law degree from the Catholic University of America, where he was a member of the Law Review. Mr. Kim received an undergraduate degree in history from Columbia University. He is a member of the Bar of Maryland, the District of Columbia, and the United States Supreme Court.
