Dr. Ottesen possesses more than 30 years combined experience having worked as a planner, design engineer, construction contracts manager, scheduler, claims consultant and expert witness. Mr. Ottesen has successfully completed more than 220 construction claims assignments from the heavy civil, building, power, transportation, pipeline and process industries. He holds a PhD in Construction Management (CPM Scheduling and Labor Productivity) from the University of Washington, Seattle, an M.S. in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University, and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Brigham Young University. He is a registered professional civil engineer in Washington, Utah, and Texas, a certified Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP), and a Certified Forensics Claims Consultant (CFCC).
