Tim Murphy has served as Managing Partner and CEO of McMillan LLP since January 2022, after serving 6 years on the firm’s Executive Committee. He is a recognized leader in public-private partnerships and in project financing major infrastructure assets across Canada. He is author of the leading text “Public-Private Partnerships in Canada: Law, Policy and Value for Money”, author/editor of the textbook “Construction Law in Canada” and adjunct professor at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. Tim was previously Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister of Canada and Canada’s Finance Minister, as well as an elected member of the Ontario Legislature. He is currently Chair of the Windsor Detroit Bridge Authority and serves on the Board of Directors of Morguard REIT, one of Canada’s leading real estate companies.
