Pablo Bueno is the President and CEO of TYPSA Group (www.typsa.com/en), a renowned firm of Consulting Engineers and Architects with its roots in Spain, which under his leadership, has achieved worldwide expansion.

Pablo has always been an enthusiastic and eminent member of professional and business associations. Member of the FIDIC Executive Committee since 2007, Pablo was elected President in 2013. His main contributions to FIDIC include launching the annual FIDIC Awards, the introduction of the FIDIC Golden Principles and the inclusion of the DAB in the White Book. He has also been Vice President of the European Federation of Consulting Engineers (EFCA) as well as President of TECNIBERIA (Spanish Association of Engineering, Consulting and Technological Service Companies). He is also currently a patron of several relevant foundations and member of various professional Institutions.

Pablo’s contributions to engineering and the community has been acknowledged by a number of awards, including European CEO of the Year Award, 2015 (ACE UK Association for Consultancy and Engineering www.acenet.co.uk) in the Large Firms Category; and the Medal of Honour 2015 of the Spanish Professional Association of Civil Engineers ( www.ciccp.es ), the highest honour awarded by the Professional Association.
