Craig Schwitter is the Senior Partner and Chair of the Global Board for Buro Happold. He founded the firm’s first North American office in New York City more than 25 years ago and has since guided its expansion across the United States, now totaling over 400 regional staff. A champion of integrated engineering and thoughtful technology use, Craig focuses on creating flexible, efficient, and engaging solutions for the built environment. He has led the delivery of many transformative projects worldwide, including New York City’s High Line—an elevated rail line converted into a highly successful public park—and Harvard University’s Science and Engineering Complex near Boston, one of the world’s most advanced teaching and research facilities.
