Stephane Asselin has been Aurecon Chief Executive for Asia since 2019. He has over 30 years of experience in engineering and environment consulting with private and publicly traded companies. His project experience spans Canada, the USA, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. Prior to Aurecon, Stephane worked for AECOM for a decade leading their Environmental business in Asia-Pacific as well as their operations in SE Asia. He started his career with URS corporation in San Francisco back in 1991 leading large scale environmental restoration and flood control projects in the USA, France, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand and China. He holds a Bachelor in Civil Engineering from Université Laval, Master in Ocean Engineering from the University of Rhode Island and a Certificate in Corporate Governance from INSEAD.
