Cosmin has graduated his PhD. in Civil Engineering at Iasi Technical University from Romania and has over 17 years of experience in implementation of construction contracts in Romania and abroad.
Currently he is the General Manager of PROTOBY, one of the leading engineering and consulting companies in Romania providing services of planning, design, consulting and management of water and wastewater contracts, working on FIDIC type contracts (Red & Yellow) for projects financed by European Union.
Starting with September 2018, he was the Chair of the FIDIC Future Leaders Committee (former YPFSC) and a member of FIDIC Sustainable Development Committee, being also the vice president of ARIC (Romanian FIDIC MA). Cosmin has an active participation in the international and regional FIDIC conferences, as a speaker or moderator of different sessions. Since 2021 he is a member in the Certification Board of FIDIC Credentialing Limited (FCL). In 2021, he was the winner of FIDIC Future Leaders Award.
