Allan Jensen is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the Cook Islands Investment Corporation (CIIC). Allan initially started with CIIC as the Chief Financial Officer in 2017, before becoming its Chief Executive in 2020. Before Allan joined the Cook Islands Investment Corporation, he held a number of senior executive roles in New Zealand, across various iwi, public, utility, and infrastructure organisations, including Te Runanganui o Ngāti Porou, Māori Television, EnviroWaste Services (a part of the Fulton Hogan Group) and Excell Corporation. Allan’s professional interests include strategy development, strategic financial management, corporate governance best practice, business integrations, change management, information technology and indigenous economic growth and business development. Allan has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Auckland, is a Chartered Accountant with the Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand (CA ANZ) and is a Member of the Institute of Directors of New Zealand. Personal interests include spending time with his family, his extended family, culture, cuisine, genealogy and travel.
