Manish D. Kothari is President and CEO of Sheladia Associates, Inc., an international architecture and engineering consulting firm based in Maryland, USA. With over 30 years of experience in transportation, bridges, highways, and infrastructure, he has led Sheladia since 2011 and overseen major projects in India and worldwide. Previously with Bechtel and D2 Consult GmbH, he holds civil engineering degrees from India and the University of Michigan.
Mr. Kothari was inducted into the U.S. National Academy of Construction in 2020 and serves on the Millennium Challenge Corporation’s Advisory Council (2024–2026). He is a Fellow of ASCE, co-chairs its Risk & Resilience subcommittee, and sits on its Industry Leadership Council. Internationally, he was elected to the FIDIC Board in 2022, previously chairing its International Financial Institutions Committee. He is past National Chair of ACEC and has served on multiple U.S. state and federal advisory bodies, earning numerous leadership honours.
