Christopher Seppälä acts as is an independent arbitrator and consultant. He has served as counsel or arbitrator in hundreds of international commercial arbitrations including multi-billion dollar construction cases of the greatest legal and factual complexity. He is a former Vice-President Emeritus of the ICC’s International Court of Arbitration, Legal Advisor to the FIDIC Contracts Committee and author of The FIDIC Red Book Contract: An International Clause-by-Clause Commentary | Wolters Kluwer Legal & Regulatory, 2023. He is a member of the New York Bar and a member (emeritus) of the Paris Bar.
