Aziz Husein is the Head Built Environment Initiatives at the Aga Khan Agency for Habitat, an agency of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN), a private non-denominational NGO based in Geneva, Switzerland. He is also the Chair AKDN Construction Standards and Advisory Committee, responsible for promoting good practices and standards in planning, design, and construction management.
Aziz has been engaged on multi-disciplinary projects in the education, hospitality, residential and cultural sectors, in North America, Africa, the Middle East and Central and South Asia. He has helped manage / monitor projects ranging from $1m to $300m, which have often involved complex implementation aspects
