Joost Merema is Chair of FIDIC’s Diversity & Inclusion Advisory Council (DIAC), partner at PRO6 managers, and a project management specialist. Working with University of Groningen, he focuses with research on public procurement of collaborative contracts for major infrastructure projects. Joost was one of the authors of the Dutch “bouwteam” models DG 2020 and DG 2025 and is a member of FIDIC’s TG17 group developing the new FIDIC Collaborative Contract Form. With broad experience leading collaborative project delivery, he combines academic research and practical expertise on both contract and projectmanagement to help the sector realise effective, integrated contracting and procurement. At ICUC 2025, Joost shares practical strategies and international best practices for contract managers navigating collaborative and value-driven project delivery models.
