Julien joined Bentley Systems as VP Technology in 2021 after over 20 years of technology leadership experience in startups, scaleups, and large organizations. He thrives on challenges, and the biggest challenge of our generation is how to combat the climate crisis. At Bentley we believe that by leveraging technology, we can make a significant contribution to sustaining economies and the environment by empowering our users to design, build, and operate more resilient infrastructure. In my role, iTwins are a huge priority. They are the cornerstone of our technology architecture and will allow us to deliver the innovations our users need to help them advance the world’s infrastructure. Prior to joining Bentley, he served as Head of Technology for SAP Marketing Cloud and was a member of the Office of the CTO for SAP Customer Experience. He was also CTO of Scytl, a platform for online voting, and the Fluendo group, the Free Software multimedia experts, which he co-founded in 2004 in Barcelona, where he is based.
