Dr. Waleed has 25 years of experience in contracts and claims management in various international project management firms, such as Bechtel, Fluor Daniel and Hill International. He has also acted as arbitrator, expert adjudicator, expert appointed by the tribunal, expert appointed by an arbitration party and dispute adjudication board (DAB) member. He is currently Regional Director (MENA) of the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering (AACE) International, Regional Director (MENA) of the Dispute Resolution Board Foundation (DRBF) and Vice President of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIARB) – Egypt Branch. He authored numerous papers and spoke in numerous conferences, seminars and webinars on the topic of construction contracts and claims. He has recently joined Bechtel as a Senior Prime Contracts Manager for NEOM Projects and is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Construction Engineering Department of the American University in Cairo.
