- a webinar organised by the FIDIC Sustainable Development Committee
The engineers who design and deliver the world’s infrastructure and built environment have a key strategic role in ensuring the world tackles climate change and achieves net zero by 2050. That’s why, in November 2021, FIDIC launched a Climate Change Charter to set out specific actions to be taken by individual engineers, companies, member associations and project teams and called on the global engineering, construction and infrastructure industry to step up and commit to it.
This webinar will review the progress made to date since the launch of the charter and examine how the industry is collectively addressing the issues of sustainability, net zero and how these efforts are contributing to the achievement of the UN’s sustainable development goals.
