She is a consulting Civil Engineer specialising in infrastructure procurement, contract management and alternative dispute resolution (ADR). She is a Professional Engineer, Registered with the Engineers Board of Kenya, a Corporate Member of the Institute of Engineers of Kenya (IEK), a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitration-Kenya Chapter and a graduate member of the Institute of Civil Engineers-UK. She is a member of the FIDIC-Future Leaders Advisory Council and FIDIC International Financial Institutions Committee (IFIC).
She holds a BSc in Civil Engineering from the University of Nairobi, Kenya and an MSc in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution from the University of Central Lancashire, UK. She has over ten years of experience in Structural Engineering and Construction Contract management.
She champions the need for climate resilient infrastructure as the key to climate adaptation. She particularly encourages the use of climate resilient contracts which she has articulated this in notable conferences such as the FIDIC Global Infrastructure Conference, 2022 in Geneva and at the FIDIC Africa Conference,2020 and ACEK Conference in Eldoret 2023.
