Luigi Pellegrino graduated in Electrical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano in 2013. He worked for 9 years in an Italian Research Centre (Ricerca sul Sistema Energetico) where he led several research activities about Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) testing and modelling. He was responsible of the Battery Laboratory where many technologies have been tested. Then, he joined Enel Green Power as Senior BESS Engineer. Here he supported the development of many BESS projects in Australia, South Africa, India, North America and Europe. Recently he joined Hitachi Energy as BESS Power Devices Manager.
