Sebnem Erol Madan is the Practice Manager for the Infrastructure Finance & Guarantees group at the World Bank. The group houses the World Bank’s guarantee program, and works with government clients and commercial counterparts to develop programmatic approaches to mobilizing private capital for infrastructure projects in EMDE through financial structuring, targeted credit enhancements and technical assistance. She has over 20 years of experience in structured credit markets (including infrastructure bonds, project finance, bridge loans, mezzanine and ABS) working closely with issuers, institutional investors, commercial banks and rating agencies in designing, underwriting and placing innovative finance solutions. Prior to her current role, she was a Managing Director at Nomura and previously at Deutsche Bank.
