Vivian Lee is the director of operations - water, environment and sustainability for Greater China at Aurecon, an international design, engineering and advisory company. She is a seasoned sustainability practitioner with over 27 years of local, regional and international experience. Her deep experience entails the integration of sustainability into various kinds of development projects, from planning stage to final implementation, specialising in water planning and engineering, as well as managing cross-disciplinary sustainability assessment. Vivian has a long history of working on climate risk and adaptation related projects, including incorporation of climate change impacts in the environmental impact assessment study for San Francisco airport expansion project, application of nature-based solutions in flood management project for Alameda Creek in California, design of green infrastructure for redevelopment of Singapore national stadium into the Sports Hub, integrated river and wetland management system for the Pak Phanang Basin in Thailand etc. Her recent work includes co-creation of initiatives with community partners to improve climate resilience of schools and institutional buildings through energy efficiency measures and solar PV systems installation and feasibility study of installing floating solar PV systems in freshwater reservoirs.
