Teddy Daka is the Group Chief Executive Officer of Zutari, leading
a multinational, multi-disciplinary buildings and infrastructure
engineering and advisory firm operating across Africa and the
Middle East. Since his appointment in 2021, he has led the
strategic growth, transformation, and positioning of the business
as Africa’s largest privately owned consulting engineering group.
With extensive experience across infrastructure, construction, and
digital technology sectors, Daka is recognised for guiding
organisations through complex change and building resilient,
future-focused enterprises. He previously served as Group CEO of
Etion Limited, a Johannesburg Stock Exchange-listed technology
company, where he led a successful turnaround.
An advocate for ethical and equitable business practices, he serves
on several boards and advisory structures and is a trusted advisor
to both private- and public-sector institutions. A lifelong learner,
Daka holds an MBA, a BA (Hons) in Business Management, and has
completed several executive programmes.
