What does this risk profile look like and what intelligence is there that can assist global leaders in their decision making.
Rob Morson, Partner, Pinsent Masons Head of Client Relationships, Infrastructure will present some interim findings from the survey they are currently running. After the summit once the report is finalised GLF members will have exclusive access to the findings until its public release.
The survey looks at some 20 key risk areas and your experience as to the shift and views regarding the appropriateness of current approaches/shift in risk allocation, between owner/employer/contractor/supply chain during the past 24 months.

Preparing for the Unknown: Scenario Planning for the Firm of the Future – 2035
What does the Firm of the Future look like in 2035? What are its priorities? How does it conduct its business? What do its competitors look like? How does it integrate emerging technology without being supplanted by it? Can it?
In November 2023, more than two dozen industry and firm executives gathered in Washington, D.C. for a two-day immersive program as part of the ACEC Research Institute’s Firm of the Future initiative. The Scenario Planning Workshop was facilitated by University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business professor Kathy Pearson, a leading authority on strategic agility and change management. This intensive, interactive session challenged participants to see around corners, identify challenges and opportunities, and to think strategically about how engineering firms can prepare for a future that becomes more driven by technology with every passing day.
In the months following, the Institute gathered nearly 70 industry leaders to continue working through additional future scenarios, identifying key trends and uncertainties, critical competencies, and rating the likelihood and preparedness of each. The goal is not to predict the future, but rather help us prepare our industry and member firms for it.
