A Celebration of India’s Vibrant Culture, Music & Culinary Heritage

Step into an unforgettable evening celebrating the spirit, rhythm, and colours of India at the “Local Colour Night” during FIDIC GIC 2026.

Full dinner and drinks will be provided for all delegates, so you can simply arrive, relax and enjoy the evening. Set at the spectacular Umrao, New Delhi, the Local Colour Night will celebrate the richness and diversity of India through food, culture, music and entertainment. Transport from the Andaz New Delhi to the venue will be provided. Separate information will be communicated to delegates registered for this social event.

Prepare for a culinary journey across India, with an extensive selection of live food stations featuring everything from Golgappa, Dahi Bhalla and Aloo Tikki to Punjabi, Chettinad and Kashmiri specialities, alongside sushi, Asian and Continental options. Delegates can also experience Indian traditions first-hand with mehndi artists, bangle-making and traditional Safa/turban tying.

Throughout the evening, delegates will enjoy a vibrant programme of live cultural entertainment, including colourful folk dance performances bringing together traditions from across India, accompanied by music, energetic drumming and spectacular costumes. Together with the food and interactive cultural experiences, the evening promises to be a memorable celebration of India’s culture, colour and spirit.
