Dilek Macit has spent substantial part of her career establishing and leading consultancy services procurement and design and governance of donor funded technical assistance functions at European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), a multilateral development bank in London. She has formulated policy, procedures and operationalised these.
A lawyer by profession, she has advised national, regional and international consultancy associations, private sector and worked closely in harmonisation of consultancy procurement policies and with other MDB's.
As former Assistant Director General at FAO, UN, she was a representative on many UN inter agency committees.
Ms Macit is currently a member of the FIDIC Academy and is head of Project Procurement and Project Finance disciplines.
