Martine is a seasoned association executive with over 25 years of experience and is currently the vice-president of the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies – Canada (ACEC). In this role, she provides strategic oversight of the association’s operations and leads a dedicated team of four employees in the delivery of high-impact programmes and services that support ACEC’s mission. Martine works closely with the president and CEO to advance the association’s advocacy initiatives and ensure alignment with industry priorities. Before joining ACEC in March 2014, Martine held key roles at the Canadian Association of Defence and Security Industries and the Canadian Dental Hygienists Association, where she contributed to organisational growth and member engagement. Martine holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences with Honours in Political Science and a concentration in History from the University of Ottawa. She also completed the management development programme for women at Carleton University’s Sprott School of Business. Her commitment to the association sector is reflected in her service on the Canadian Society of Association Executives Ottawa-Gatineau Network Council, where she served two terms, including as treasurer secretary. Additionally, she served as a director on the board of the Canadian Ski Marathon for four years, an event she continues to actively participate in.
