The main conference is open to all participants.
The second day of the conference will include a keynote address from a high-profile speaker and four panel sessions on some of the key issues facing the industry and the world. These sessions will cover the following: -

Shining a spotlight on Asia;
Going Digital – delivering smarter infrastructure at pace;
Building a better world through good infrastructure investment; and
Developing the industry’s response to the key challenges
.

Day 2 will also include three forum discussion tables on Contract management, Digital transformation and Dispute Avoidance and Adjudication. Day 2 will conclude with a Gala Dinner event at which the annual FIDIC Awards will be presented.

The forums will be open for registration closer to the conference. Please note that spaces are limited, and these will be reserved on a first come first served basis.

Panel Session 6 - Global industry leaders roundtable discussion: Shining a spotlight on Asia

Session to include: This session will showcase Singapore and how it has built a more sustainable country through their planning and delivery programme. Highlighting best practice projects and investment strategies, the session will also focus on the wider ‘Asia powerhouse’ and the lessons to be learned for the industry.

Potential questions to address in session: -
1. How is Singapore building a more sustainable country?
2. What does best practice in the Asia region look like and how is this making a difference on projects?
3. What lessons can be learned from Singapore transport projects like MRT?
4. What investment strategies are in play in the region and what works?
5. What lessons can the industry learn on the approach taken to risk in the region?

Panel session 7 - Going Digital – delivering smarter infrastructure at pace.

Session to include: This session will look at how technology can help deliver smarter infrastructure at pace and economically and examine some of the key digital trends that the industry needs to be aware of. How is the industry progressing on its journey to be more data-driven? How can firms work smarter and deliver more? How can the industry develop a platform-based model to deliver more predictable projects on time and to budget? What are the key steps that construction firms need to take to embed digital in all that they do?

Potential questions to address in session: -
1. How can we use technology to deliver projects at pace and on budget?
2. Is the industry making progress on its digital journey? What are the blockers to progress?
3. How practically can firms work faster and smarter to deliver more effectively?
4. What does good leadership look like in this area?
5. What lessons can the construction industry learn from other sectors on ‘going digital’?

Panel session 8 - Building a better world through good infrastructure investment.

Session to include: The final session of the conference will look at how the construction and infrastructure sector can contribute to building a better world through a sustainable approach to development that is net zero compliant and helps to deliver the UN sustainable development goals. The session will cover delivering green energy, sharing best practice net zero strategies and how we ensure that the developing world is not left behind when it comes to decarbonisation.

Potential questions to address in session: -
1. How does the industry embed sustainability in everything it does?
2. Are countries (and industries) moving fast enough in greening energy supply?
3. How do we ensure that the developing world is not left behind?
4. How can we ensure that clients and funders are sufficiently engaged with this agenda?
5. Given all the challenges we face, how can we remain positive and show leadership to ensure that we build the better world that we all want to see?

Three forum discussion tables will take place during Day 2:

1. Contract Management Forum will take a look at the key and emerging issues in the contract management and project delivery arena;
2. Digital Transformation Forum will discuss key and emerging issues in the digital and technology sphere
3. Dispute Avoidance and Adjudication Forum will enable FIDIC adjudicators and other practitioners to discuss key issues in the disputes avoidance arena.
