  • This session will focus on the real conditions facing consulting engineering firms and associations across regions. The aim is to identify common challenges, understand market pressures and explore where FIDIC can add value through advocacy, tools, guidance or collective action.​​​​​​

    • Procurement and undervaluation of intellectual services
    • Regulation, deregulation and professional accountability
    • Power relationships in the market 
    • How Member Associations demonstrate value to member firms

• 13:30-14:15 - Session 4: What are Member Associations already doing that others can learn from? 
  • A structured peer exchange focused on practical examples, tools, advocacy materials, resources and initiatives that may be useful across regions. This session is designed as an exchange of ideas and usable takeaways rather than formal presentations. 
• 14:15-15:00 - Session 5: Future-facing priorities for the profession and Member Associations 
  • This session will explore priority issues that should most shape FIDIC work in 2027 and beyond and how Councils and Committees work can contribute. AC chairs and Committee Chairs will be invited to contribute to the dialogue. Three guiding questions will help shape the dialogue:
    • Which issues should be most prominent on FIDIC agenda in 2027?
    • What do Member Associations need from FIDIC to respond effectively?
    • Which topics should be addressed by Committees and Councils and how to ensure coherence and coordination? 
• 15:00-15:20 - Refreshment Break
• 15:20-16:00 - Session 6: From discussion to action: key messages, reflections and next steps 
  • This working session is intended to move from discussion to prioritisation. The aim is to identify a small number of concrete issues to take forward after the forum.

Part B

Building on these themes, participants from the FIDIC Future Leaders Management Course (FLMC) 2026 will present the outcomes of their Capstone Workshop, exploring the leadership, institutional capabilities and future skills needed to deliver sustainable infrastructure. Bringing together high-potential emerging leaders from consulting engineering firms around the world, the session showcases the perspectives of participants who have completed four months of leadership development through the FIDIC Academy, culminating in an intensive workshop in Delhi ahead of the conference.

 This Forum is for adjudicators, dispute board members, dispute board practitioners and other industry participants who are experienced and knowledgeable in applying dispute avoidance techniques and are active in engineering, construction and infrastructure industry to discuss the latest key global issues in the dispute avoidance and adjudication arena to shape the future of dispute avoidance.

Exploring how the infrastructure industry can move beyond minimising harm to actively restoring biodiversity and ecosystems through nature-positive planning and delivery. 

Highlighting the transformative tools that are reshaping how infrastructure projects are planned, built, and managed.
